Refund policy
At Pirate Transfers, we want you to receive transfers that are printed correctly and ready to press. Because every order is custom printed using the artwork and specifications submitted by the customer, all sales are generally final. However, if we make a mistake, we'll make it right.
Reprints and Refunds
If your order arrives with a printing defect or was produced incorrectly due to an error by Pirate Transfers, please contact us as soon as possible.
Depending on the issue, Pirate Transfers may provide a replacement, reprint, store credit, or refund.
We may request photos of the transfers, packaging, or other information necessary to evaluate the issue before approving a resolution.
Customer-Submitted Artwork
Pirate Transfers is a self-service printing service. Customers are responsible for reviewing their artwork before submitting an order.
We print the files you provide. Unless otherwise specifically stated, Pirate Transfers does not proof, correct, resize, enhance, spell-check, or otherwise modify customer-submitted artwork before production.
Problems resulting from the submitted artwork are not considered printing defects. This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Low-resolution or pixelated artwork
-
Incorrect sizing
-
Incorrect spelling or design elements
-
Unwanted backgrounds
-
Transparency issues
-
Poor-quality artwork
-
Incorrect colors contained within the submitted file
-
Elements that are too small or detailed to reproduce properly
-
Artwork uploaded or arranged incorrectly by the customer
Orders affected by customer-submitted artwork issues are not eligible for a free reprint or refund.
Gang Sheets
Customers using a gang sheet builder or other layout tool are responsible for reviewing the completed layout before submitting the order.
Pirate Transfers will print the gang sheet as submitted. Please verify image placement, sizing, quantity, orientation, and artwork quality before completing your purchase.
Color Variations
Colors displayed on phones, monitors, tablets, and other screens may differ from the final printed transfer.
Pirate Transfers does not guarantee an exact match between your screen and the finished product unless a specific color-matching service has been expressly agreed upon.
Normal color variations are not considered printing defects.
Application and Pressing
Customers are responsible for following Pirate Transfers' current pressing and application instructions.
Heat presses, garments, materials, pressure, temperature, and environmental conditions can vary. We strongly recommend testing transfers before beginning a large production run.
Pirate Transfers is not responsible for transfers or garments damaged due to incorrect application, improper temperature, pressure, pressing time, peeling technique, incompatible materials, or other application-related issues.
Garment and Product Costs
Pirate Transfers supplies transfers and does not assume responsibility for the value of garments, apparel, or other products onto which a transfer is applied.
If a transfer is determined to be defective, Pirate Transfers' responsibility is limited to the affected transfer or transfer order and does not include reimbursement for garments, labor, lost production, lost profits, or other associated costs.
Order Changes and Cancellations
Because orders may enter production shortly after they are submitted, changes and cancellations are not guaranteed.
Once an order has entered production, it cannot be changed or canceled.
If you notice an error immediately after ordering, contact Pirate Transfers as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to help if production has not yet begun.
Shipping Damage or Missing Items
If your package arrives damaged, incomplete, or appears to have been affected during shipping, contact Pirate Transfers promptly and include photos of the package and its contents when possible.
Shipping-related issues may require additional information or cooperation with the shipping carrier.
Additional shipping terms are covered in the Pirate Transfers Shipping Policy.
Reporting a Problem
Please inspect your order before pressing or distributing your transfers.
If you believe Pirate Transfers made an error, contact us with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos showing the problem.
Our goal is simple: if Pirate Transfers makes the mistake, we'll work to make it right. If the order was printed correctly from the file submitted, the customer is responsible for the submitted artwork and specifications.
